What to Expect at Your Cleaning Appointment
During your initial appointment, your hygienist will take comfortable and fast digital x-rays, then check your teeth for decay. The process is painless and very helpful to us as we do our best to keep treatment conservative.
Your hygienist will also measure your gums to determine which type of dental cleaning that is right for you. After your cleaning or periodontal (gum) therapy, one of our dentists will sit down with you, as well, to look over your records, examine your mouth, and take the time to discuss any dental concerns you may have.
Our hygienist and dentist will always have adequate time reserved for you. We hope you leave every visit feeling fully informed about your dental health and treatment options without being rushed.
What to Expect at your Dental Treatment Visit
If you need additional dental treatment, such as a filling, and wants to get the process started immediately following your dental cleaning, we are able and pleased to accommodate that in the majority of cases. This enables us to fix problems before they get worse, at the same time as saving you more trips to our office. When more extensive dental work is needed, we’ll talk you through your treatment and financial options and your schedule at the end of your cleaning visit.
